Carson junior Kaelin Roberts qualified for the state finals in the 200, 400 and 4x100 relay at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium. Roberts posted the fastest prelim time of 53.15 in the 400 and contributed to U.S. No. 2 45.16 in the 4x100 relay, in addition to running 23.52 in the 200 to qualify third overall.
