Reign Redmond, a junior at Carson High in California, won the gold section of the 100-meter dash in a wind-legal 11.83 seconds at the West Coast Relays at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Redmond also placed second in the gold section of the 200 meters in a wind-legal 24.41 seconds.
