Reign Redmond, a junior at Carson High, won her qualifying heats in the 100-meter dash and 200 meters in wind-legal efforts of 11.45 and 23.86 seconds at the CIF State Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Redmond also helped the Colts advance to the 4x100-meter relay final by running 46.95 in their heat to finish second.
